Title Record Request

Requests for Title Records can be made in the following ways:

In Person:

Visit any Clerk of Courts Auto Title office during our regular business hours. Please ensure you have the proper identifiers (names, title number, VIN #'s, etc.) in order for our office to properly complete your request.

Acceptable methods of payment: cash, personal, business or certified cashier checks, money orders or credit card (3% processing fee).

By Mail:

Mail your completed Record Request Form with payment to the address below. All Public Record Request forms must be completed in its entirety in order to be processed.

Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you would like your completed request returned to you by mail.

Requests for Title Records will be processed in accordance with the Franklin County Clerk of Courts Public Record Policy, External linkORC §149.43, External linkORC §4501.15, External linkORC §4501.27 and External linkORC §4507.53 of the Ohio Revised Code and provisions set forth in Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act (DPPA).
