The Franklin County Clerk's office serves individuals, businesses and organizations within and outside Franklin County through its professional management of all legal and auto title documents filed through the Court of Common Pleas, 10th District Court of Appeals, and the Clerk's Auto Title Division with sound business practices and financial accountability while providing Timely, Accurate and Courteous service.
The Franklin County Clerk of Courts' functions include: receiving, receipting, managing and retaining all legal documents filed through the Court of Common Pleas; processing vehicular titles; processing U.S. Passport applications and photos; and, recording notaries public's commissions. Staff's goal is to be timely, accurate, and courteous in daily transactions. More than 230 employees are document experts and professional in performing these tasks.
