Auto Title offices closed to the public, Legal offices operating at reduced capacity

There is no higher priority than the safety and well-being of our staff and the people we serve. In the interest of justice and the public health, the Franklin County Clerk of Courts will operate at reduced capacity with limited staff. This decision is consistent with decisions made by other government offices to combat the community spread of the coronavirus.

The Franklin County Clerk of Courts will be operating with the following schedule from Monday, March 16th – Sunday, May 31st:

Legal Divisions
Appeals, General and the Domestic Relations & Juvenile
OPEN Monday - Friday 8 A.M. – 5 P.M.

Auto Title Division
CLOSED to the public

Auto dealer services will not be impacted. People in need of auto titling services are encouraged to mail the appropriate documentation and payment to the Auto Title South branch:

The Franklin County Clerk of Courts Office remains in close communication with the Board of Commissioners and the judges we serve. Any future decisions made by this Office will not come lightly.
